Admission Procedure

St. Michael the Archangel Regional School admits students of any race or color, national or ethnic origin to all of the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and/or ethnic origin, or gender in the administration of its educational policies, in its admissions policies, or in its athletic and/or school-administered programs.

Registration is now open for the upcoming 2017-18 School Year
PreK-3 through Grade 8

Registration takes place every year during the month of February. Check the school calendar for dates and times. Baptismal and birth certificates, social security card and health records are to be presented upon registration. Children entering Kindergarten are to be five years old by September 30th. First graders must be six years old by September 30th. 

New students
entering grades 2-8 will also need a copy of his/her latest report card and the dates of their sacraments. A registration fee will be charged. The registration fee is non-refundable. 

Re-Registration
Students who are currently attending St. Michael the Archangel must re-register in February. Each family will receive a form to be filled out as to whether the child/children will be returning the following September. This form must be returned along with the re-registration fee for each child. 

Health Requirements 
State Law requires that every child who is admitted to school must have evidence of a successful vaccination for diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella and polio. Also required are the varicella vaccination and a tuberculin skin test. Starting with the 2008-2009 school year, all students entering Grade 6 must have Tdap (Tetanus, diptheria acellular pertussis) and Meningococcal immunizations. 

Transportation 
Any child living in a community that provides busing and would be eligible for busing to public school is also eligible for busing or an “aid-in-lieu-of” reimbursement from their public school district for private  school transportation. Call the school office for details.
