1) Kindergarten is a special year! We learn to read, and that is really special!!

What Inspired Me to be a Teacher?
I remember being in 1st Grade, in groups reading our books. Well, I knew the words so I turned the page and read on. My teachers saw that I was on a different page from the rest of the group so she made me take my chair and desk and go sit in the corner facing the wall. I was very embarrassed and really didn’t do anything wrong. I thought to myself, if I ever became a teacher when I grew up, I would never do that to a student. That negative experience in school has remained with me this whole time. I want to e
